This was a fun first in my photography career. Cameron was the first senior I've had the opportunity to photograph from my Alma Mater! And he's only graduating a decade after me (WOW I'm getting old!)
Another cool thing about photographing Cameron: He was a Drum Major for the L.D. Bell Band. My time in the Bell band was truly the start of my creative career, and some of my best high school memories come from the time I spent with the friends I made in band!
All this to say, it was great working with Cameron and hearing about his recent experiences with the band program. He was also incredible easy to photograph! We chose to start our session outside the Meyerson Symphony Center, and walked the Dallas Streets for a few hours, finding some great hidden corners of Dallas that I've never shot before!
I shot most of this session with the Nikon D810 and only 2 lenses: The 85mm 1.8G and the 28mm 1.8G. I absolutely love the versatility and quality provided by this setup. The Westcott Rapid Box once again helped create dramatic lighting with ease on and otherwise fairly overcast day.
