Deep Ellum Engagement: David & Jennah

Of all the couples I've photographed, I've known David and Jennah the longest. I met Jennah when she was just a junior in high school performing with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, a group I was shooting video for at the time. I met David the following fall as he was beginning school at UNT.

It's been very cool to see them grow together over the years, and having the opportunity to photograph their wedding next month is such a huge honor for me.

I also had the chance to shoot Jennah's Bridal Portraits at Rustic Grace Estate (their wedding venue), and while I can't share those just yet, be on the lookout for them come mid-July!

David, Jennah, and I met in Deep Ellum for their engagement shoot early on a Saturday morning. It felt like we had the city to ourselves, which gave us tons of freedom to explore. We found some incredible corners and pockets of light throughout Dallas!

Our shoot started with an empty building and an incredible little light pocket. Plus a perfectly photogenic couple.
